HL7 Quality Reporting Document Architecture (QRDA) is a standard for communicating health care quality measurement information. It conforms to the requirements of HL7 CDA Release 2.0 and reuses the templates developed for HL7 CCD. The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (Joint Commission) and the Doctor’s Office Quality – Information Technology (DOQ-IT) have served as a source for quality measure samples. The concept of QRDA has been developed and accepted by HL7, IHE, and HITSP as the candidate of choice for standard quality reporting. HL7 QRDA is incorporated into Meaningful Use for quality reporting.
