Course Information
This training course covers the core components of the FHIR standard and allows you to gain hands-on experience. Around 50% of this course is spent on hands-on exercises, with the aim to strengthen your knowledge of the FHIR specification. You’ll learn about core components such as FHIR Resources, Data Types, REST, FHIR Messaging, Operations, Bundles, Extensions, Search, Terminologies, and the FHIR Conformance Layer.
You’ll also learn about important implementation aspects, such as security, and commonly used implementation architectures.
Towards the end of the training course you’ll be able to review your knowledge by studying an example FHIR implementation guide (e.g. “US Core” in courses aimed at the USA). The structure of FHIR implementation guides will be well familiar to attendees by the end of the course.
3-day (5.5 hours each day), instructor-led, hands-on web training. This training course is offered in both a US as well as a European-time zone friendly version.
