Introducing Rhapsody EMPI 11.2: powerful new tools to drive identity data trust

We are excited to introduce the next newest version of Rhapsody EMPI, with powerful new tools designed to help improve the trust you have in the person data that drives your most important initiatives.

Listen to my colleague and identity data management veteran Rico Garcia talk about what makes this new version special:

Trusted person data is the foundation

Like a house with a strong foundation, trusted person data provides the base needed to drive strategic initiatives in healthcare. This extends far beyond the obvious, yet critical, goals of delivering safe patient care and facilitating care coordination. It extends to the public health agency coordinating pandemic response activities. It helps new healthcare technology enter the market faster. It helps ensure that provider networks can confidently communicate with their customers.

It is with this recognition of the importance of identity data that we proudly announce our latest enhancements. According to Gartner®, Rhapsody EMPI is a next-generation EMPI1. To make the latest release even more robust, we worked with our customer product council to deliver what we feel are the most powerful set of tools available to help you identify and resolve person-data inconsistencies that referential data from third-party sources alone are unable to achieve. These include:

  • New workflow automation features to make the data stewardship process more efficient. Patient data issues are automatically quarantined and assigned to a designated data steward.
  • Comprehensive presentation of person data across all sources offers a clear, side-by-side comparison of data from various sources that will help reduce the potential for erroneous adjudication and the transparency to ensure you always know which data has been shared.is
  • A redesigned workspace for management of the data-resolution process. The new workspace presents historical and conflicting person data intuitively and empowers sound data resolution decision-making.

Delivering the control and visibility that person data deserves

With this release, we’ve built on the powerful data-matching capabilities that our customers rely on to offer even more control over the person data management process and visibility to the data lineage that constitutes each person’s unique record. Even if manual remediation is not a requirement on day one, accurate person data is so critical to the success of every healthcare organization that we equip all our customers with all this powerful functionality for whenever they may require it.

We are committed to following the impressive precedent set by the NextGate team to continue investment in powerful solutions that help you maintain the most accurate set of person data possible.
