Corepoint Health VP interviews HIMSS’ Michael Gaspar on millennials in health IT

From Health Standards:

At this year’s HIMSS conference, they are bringing Millennials together at a reception with the goal to connect the future leaders of healthcare. “Future leaders” may be a misleading as many Millennials are leading in healthcare already. Michael certainly is. I am proud to be a co-chair of this event, along with Jenny Sabol.”

Jon Mertz sat down with Michael Gaspar of HIMSS about millennial leadership and the #GenY4HIT event at HIMSS. Jon will be co-moderating the sold out event in Las Vegas. Some great insights here on why it’s important to engage millennials early in their careers to set in place habits and expectations that can lead to great success later.

For those who want to hear more from Michael, he’ll be moderating the #HITsm Tweetchat on February 19, most likely behind the wheel of the @HIMSS twitter account.
