1 | HL7: First Steps or equivalent knowledge. We recommend students with little or no HL7 knowledge take the HL7: First Steps training class before starting the Associate course.

2 | It is expected that attendees will be familiar with the functionality and local use of  the Rhapsody Integration Engine.

Associate Certification covers the foundations and underlying concepts required for an introductory understanding of the Rhapsody Integration Engine and its use in providing reliable and efficient connectivity between an organization’s clinical systems.

To teach users how to:

• Understand the fundamental ways in which messages are structured and managed
• Combine communication points, filters, and pathways into a working route
• View and update the status of a running engine in the Management Console

Associate Certification is intended for administrators tasked with using Rhapsody Integration Engine to manage the flow of messages in an organization.
