Sagnik Bhattacharya is the Chief Executive Officer of Rhapsody. Sagnik is an industry veteran, accomplished in connecting with clinical leaders, CIOs, CMIOs, and other industry stakeholders to create positive patient outcomes. As CEO, Sagnik is passionate about customer success and simplifying the complexity of health data exchange. Prior to joining Rhapsody, Sagnik served as EVP and General Manager of HealthEdge, where he led the company’s core solutions for payers. Prior to that, he served as Head of Payer & Provider Initiatives at PatientPing, accelerating development and go-to-market of a national patient-centered care coordination platform. In addition, Bhattacharya had a distinguished career at Epic where he led the Population Health and Outpatient EHR divisions. Sagnik is an active participant in national interoperability conversations, serving on the Advisory Board and Board of Directors for Carequality.

Jitin Asnaani

Chief Product Officer

Jitin leads Rhapsody’s product strategy and execution, with a focus on accelerating digital health transformation and adoption. He has an extensive background in interoperability and digital health, leading significant industry initiatives such as CommonWell Health Alliance, the Argonaut Project, and the Direct Project. Jitin also led corporate development at Bamboo Health and Health Gorilla.

Michelle Blackmer

Chief Marketing Officer

Michelle is responsible for defining the go-to-market strategy and leading the marketing team. Her passion for empowering health innovators with complete, connected data shapes the go-to-market messaging and helps grow mindshare. With 25 years of healthcare data management experience, Michelle thrives at the intersection of marketing, sales, product, and customers. Her curiosity and collaborative approach make Michelle a natural convener and trust builder — ensuring the voice of customer is heard. Prior to Rhapsody, Michelle led healthcare marketing at Verato, Initiate Systems/IBM, Informatica, and CareEvolution. Michelle lives in the great Pacific Northwest.

Jeff Chiumiento

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Chiumiento is responsible for overseeing Rhapsody’s global financial operations and optimizing business management. With over twenty years of experience in roles focused on finance, technology, and development, Chiumiento offers acute facility in driving bottom-line productivity. Prior to joining Rhapsody, Chiumiento was interim chief financial officer for Rocket Software and held executive-level roles at companies including Sonos and NBC Universal, Inc.

Kevin Day

Chief Technology Officer

Kevin has global technology delivery and operations responsibilities which includes cybersecurity and software engineering, research, and innovation. His focus is on an unwavering commitment to customers with products that meet regulatory standards. Kevin has over 20 years’ experience delivering commercial software for customers in highly regulated industries. He served 24 years in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard.

Michael Fenlon

Head of Customer Success

Mike leads Rhapsody’s Customer Success Organization which includes customer support, education, and professional services teams. Through strong customer relationships, Mike ensures Rhapsody’s global customers derive value and success from their partnership. With over over 20 years’ experience as a Customer Success Executive, Mike previously held leadership positions at Change Healthcare, McKesson, and Fujitsu.

Stuart Heavyside

Chief Revenue Officer

Stuart leads Rhapsody’s customer facing teams globally focused on positive customer outcomes and shaping revenue strategies to drive sustainable growth. With over 20 years’ experience in the software industry, he’s helped both startups and large international companies find software solutions to achieve business success. Stuart has experience across all go-to-market functions and across all geographies.

Drew Ivan

Chief Architect

Drew’s focus is on corporate strategy. His experience includes over 20 years in health IT, working with a wide spectrum of customers, including public HIEs, IDNs, payers, life sciences companies, and software vendors, with the goal of improving outcomes and reducing costs by aggregating and analyzing clinical, claims, and cost data.

Merritt McGowan

Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, Company Secretary

As Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, Company Secretary at Rhapsody, Merritt manages all of the legal, compliance, and corporate governance functions for the company’s global business. Prior to joining Rhapsody, Merritt held various in-house counsel positions at healthcare organizations including in government, public health, and healthcare IT. Merritt leverages her experience to build on the corporate global strategy while bringing a business-minded perspective to all legal negotiations.

Mellissa’s focus is on creating strong operational foundations, company cultures, and great places to work. With 15 years’ experience leading People teams for high-growth companies, she understands the importance of navigating growth and change. She has held human resources leadership roles for international companies in the eCommerce, SaaS, and computer games industries.
